With an overnight stay near Boston, I managed the shortest of visits to RSPB Frampton Marsh.
I arrived just as the light was fading but still managed to see a bit of wildlife. However, it was the calls that stood out – whooper swans, Brent geese and curlew – sounds of wilderness in the last of the dusk light – great!
A magical place at all times but the light at dusk and dawn is in another world.
